We used the book Lego-Based Therapy (pictured left) as the foundation for creating our Building Bonds Lego Club.

Through a shared focus on a common goal, the Building Bonds Lego Club naturally fosters communication and social connections. As children collaborate, they engage in meaningful opportunities to practice social skills, including communication, support, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. This all takes place within the context of a fun, hands-on activity that is enjoyed by both neurotypical and neurodivergent children alike, creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone.

The Building Bonds Lego Club is open to children of all abilities! We provide a variety of building materials, including Lego Sets, Duplo Blocks, Magna-Tiles, and more. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive space where kids can collaborate, communicate, and build together. We are committed to fostering a positive environment where every child feels supported and empowered, ensuring a fun and rewarding experience for all.

Hosted by an experienced and licensed Speech Pathologist, Lindsay Rossillo, MS CCC-SLP, The Building Bonds Lego Club is open to children of all abilities, ages 6 and up!

Building Bonds Lego Club will take place on Fridays from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM and will begin on 02/07/2025! There’s no end date for Building Bonds Lego Club—it will continue as long as participants are showing up and having fun!
